Johnstone and Reimer Lawyers are a small but rapidly growing general practice firm with offices in Lilydale and Berwick. Our firm's mission is to solve client's legal problems as expeditiously as possible.
We are looking for a compassionate, empathetic and mature individual who has experience working with clients who have experienced trauma and/or injury to support a busy personal injury lawyer (WorkCover, TAC, Super TPD, public liability, and victims of crime) in our Lilydale office.
The successful applicant will have an exemplary phone manner which is naturally engaging, friendly and solutions-focused, particularly when dealing with more challenging clients.
As a full time legal secretary at Johnstone and Reimer Lawyers, your primary responsibilities will be:
- Carry out a variety of secretarial and administrative tasks assigned by the instructing solicitor.
- Client and stakeholder correspondence
- Liaising with lawyers, barristers, doctors, insurance companies and clients
- Prepare court documents, letters and briefs etc.
- Filing and other administrative support
- Billing
