RESPONSIBILITIES
Working as part of our Claims Operations, you will support our Members through:
- leading the claims team in managing their portfolios for optimal outcomes
- contributing to the development of the team by coaching, developing and mentoring
- developing and fostering relationships with our Members, ensuring all expectations are met
- effective workload and workforce planning
- managing claims-related risk
- ensuring that core service standards are continually met
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
In your cover letter you will need to demonstrate how your skills and experience match the criteria below:
- at least 6 years' workers compensation experience
- minimum two years experience in leading a team to deliver superior service and outcomes
- an understanding of portfolio management concepts
- demonstrated ability to apply legislation and injury management practices
- relevant tertiary qualifications (insurance/management/allied health/legal) or commensurate experience
- advanced written and verbal communication skills, with a strong customer service focus
- intermediate Microsoft Office suite skills (Word, Excel PowerPoint, Outlook)
