THE ROLE

The purpose of this role is to effectively manage all aspects of premium, registration maintenance and premium collection and ongoing correspondence within the legislation to achieve compliance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Renewing and adjusting policies which include invoicing, amendments, grouping, new business and automatic renewals
  • Completing tasks such as Cancellations, Certificates of Currency and all other correspondence within appropriate timeframes
  • Review of overdue premium reminder letters
  • Pro-actively managing premium collection by controlling the value, number, age and proportion of outstanding premium and the framework for legal debt recovery action
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing of a broker portfolio
  • Coaching and mentoring of team members

ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum 4 years experience within Workers Compensation Underwriting Premium and/or Credit
  • Knowledge of Workers Compensation Legislation
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Customer service orientated
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Adopting a service- orientated approach that is focused on the education and up skilling of employers in respect of premium services and obligations and dispute minimization
