THE OPPORTUNITY
The purpose of this role is to pro-actively manage all aspects of the Recoveries process, including proactively identifying recovery potential and working within the iCare service model framework to maximise recovery potential, achieving compliance on the applicable performance measures.
There is a strong focus on driving improvements in the volume and efficiency of recoveries proceedings, across the portfolio to support the financial viability of the scheme.
ABOUT YOU
- Greater than 3 years’ experience in a recoveries position.
- Must have a sound knowledge in Workers Compensation Act.
- Strong relationship management and influencing skills
- You have previous experience working as a case manager or a technical specialist background
- Representing at a senior level both internally and externally with clients and stakeholders
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline is highly desirable
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
This is an exciting opportunity to put your highly developed relationship skills to the test and be responsible for
- Implementation of processes to improve recovery management across the portfolio
- In conjunction with the Team Leader identify, develop and implement effective strategies to support the achievement of key performance and remuneration measures.
- Assess all aspects of recoveries pursuant to legislation, guidelines and in accordance with authorised limits
- Monitor and review recoveries across the portfolio to ensure appropriate and timely actions are in place to maximise recoveries.
- Understanding and applying legislative requirements, case law and precedents, iCare Policy, Guides and Guidelines
- Coaching / training Claims Management Specialists to identify and investigate potential recoveries
- Identification and clarification of recovery potential in conjunction with Claims Management Specialists
