An exciting long-term contract for a Worker Compensation specialist to join a large and progressive Government organisation.

The role is well suited to a highly experienced Worker's Compensation expert with an analytical mindset for business improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Analysis of process, workflows and implementation of a new business service model into a Worker's compensation team
• Providing expertise within the claims process around Worker compensation/insurance
• Contribute to workshops for the development of processes, policy, or systems as required
• Help support any business analysis artefacts i.e. process maps, documentations and procedures (The candidate will be trained in this as well)
• Providing technical expertise around how worker claims are managed and delivered

Essential Requirements:

• Must have worker compensation experience i.e. worked as a claims specialist, consultant and/or manager within this space. At least 3 year experience.
• Highly desirable to have some Business Analyst knowledge i.e. can produce documents, gather requirements and engage in developing process maps
• Highly desirable to have used VISIO
• Very strong communication, stakeholder engagement and an analytical mindset for business improvement
