Are you a self starter with a passion for sales and building genuine and long term client relationships?
Our team in Brisbane is welcoming a passionate people person into this newly created sales role to develop relationships with Medium to Large construction client groups. You will be responsible for securing new business and maximising cross sell opportunities for General Insurance and Home Warranty Insurance products, with full product training available.
You most likely have around five years comparable B2B sales experience and be excited to join a global organisation like Aon, within our construction specialist arm, HIA Insurance Services.
You will be responsible for:
- Using various marketing techniques to win new business sales for HIAIS QLD and Northern NSW; carrying out B2B, phone, email, event / networking and face to face sales activities
- With support from the State Manager, you will creatively develop and maintain an ongoing sales pipeline
- Travelling across QLD and NSW to visit prospective construction clients to promote HIAIS’ services, and cross sell a variety market leading products and services
- Uphold the image and reputation of the company as an ethical member of the community and industry by communicating the company’s values internally and externally
- Taking ownership of our Client Relationship Management system and sales reporting
About you:
- 5 + years sales or insurance industry experience
- Understanding the scope of Aon risk products and services and their delivery systems
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
- Intermediate Word & Excel skills, proficient in PowerPoint
- Ability to plan and organise own workload
- You have your own transport for client visits with mileage offered
