A unique opportunity has arisen for an Broker Assistant to join a Brisbane-based broking team and play an integral role in the functionality of the office. The company is prepared to invest in on the job training - both for the role & insurance functions - to encourage future progression. We are currently seeking candidates who are willing to take on a new challenge, learn new skills and forge a new career in insurance.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Proving administration and sales support to Internal Brokers
- Processing of new business, renewals and endoursement transactions
- Providing high levels of customer service
- Manage claims communications between all stakeholders - client, insurer, assessors, contractors and suppliers alike
- Exposure across the Domestic and SME product range
To Be Successful in This Role You Will Have:
- A passion for learning and training
- Strong communication skills - verbal and oral - both in person and via telecommunications
- Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
- A “sense of urgency” and ability to work under pressure and with attention to detail
- Ability to use initiative and maintain high levels of confidentiality
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
