What we are looking for:

As an Assistant Product Manager, you will work directly with the Senior Product Manager to assist in delivering customer and business benefits and improved performance across the portfolio from sales through to service and claims. You will work with the Senior Product Manager to execute solutions that enable the team to achieve the targeted business outcomes and deliver business value. You will liaise with internal and external business partners to elicit, prioritise, validate and document initiatives to deliver meaningful outcomes to our customers through our insurance product offerings.

In addition, you will also: :

  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement across Woolworths; including evaluation of customer, financial, cultural, technological, organisational and environmental factors which must be addressed for the opportunity.

  • Provide support for projects/ improvement initiatives in terms of planning, process design, analysis, workshop facilitation, solution identification, change management and stakeholder engagement.

  • Deliver quality outcomes within agreed budget and timelines

  • Identify and escalate potential issues and risks in a timely manner

  • Support in producing, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports

  • Support in reconciling the budget and end of month

  • Assist in the rollout of new Insurance Products

  • Ensure that all compliance processes are adhered to, and be familiar with fundamental concepts

  • Support the team with the sales & retention target within scope

  • Ensure change requests are created for all new campaigns and implemented into the Customer Hub

  • Facilitate weekly hub meetings and ensure the weekly initiatives are being delivered

  • Review Hub reporting and feedback to wider group

  • Assist in implementing insurance initiatives into Hub

  • Work with the continuous improvement team to support the delivery of hub initiatives

Who you are:

You’re driven by a customer mission and passionate about being part of a tribe of great people. Whatever you love - design, technology, engineering, you’re active in the community that sits around it.

You orient around doing what’s meaningful, purposeful and delivers value. You’re excited about being part of digital transformation and disrupting one of Australia’s biggest companies.

You’re curious and empathetic, with an eye for the bigger picture. You deal with complexity by collaborating with colleagues, listening to customers, testing ideas and continuously learning. You take authorship for what you create.

It would also be nice if you had:

  • A degree in Business is desirable

  • This is an entry level role, but experience in Finance or Insurance would be advantageous but not essential

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in MS and Gsuite

  • Experience working in an Agile environment is desirable

You don’t have to have worked in retail or with a big corporate, but you might have. Or you may have invested your talent in startups, digital SMEs or management consultancies. What you do need is to know how you could contribute to our teams. Be interested and interesting!

What's in it for you:
