About the role
The Administration Assistant provides administrative support to a team of Claims Consultants to enable them to perform their roles and maintain a high level of performance. This is an initial 3 month contract with great potential to extension.

Duties

The duties of an administration assistant include;

  • Paying appropriate compensation to injured workers
  • Registering new claims on system
  • Calculating PIAWE for new claims
  • Entering workcover medical certificates on system
  • Liasing with injured workers re invalid medical certificates and pay queries
  • Open and distribute incoming mail
  • Pay weekly compensation to injured workers
  • Process medical accounts to providers & injured workers
  • General workcover queries with team members and providers
  • Data entry, general clerical administration/ filing
  • Provide a high quality level of customer service to customers and injured employees.
  • Other tasks as required.
  • Previous experience with SAP & Figtree preferable
