The Client
A well regarded insurer within the Australian market is looking for an enthusiastic general insurance candidate to join their team. A great role where you can grow and expand your career. Working with an established leadership team and underwriters you will be in an enviroment where you can continue to learn and develop.
Your Responsibilities
- Underwrite renewals and new business across personal lines products
- Liaise with the affiliated Brokers and external parties providng a high level of customer service
- Review upcoming renewals, endorsements
- Responsible for retaining & writing profitable business
- Help the rest of the underwriting team with increasing profitability
What we are looking for:
- The ability to make informed risk decisions
- Ability to build strong relationships internally
- Good communication skills with the ability to negotiate
- Well presented and relationship focused
- Good analytical mindset
- Either experience as an Assistant Underwriter, Account Executive or claims in general insuranceole.
