Our client is a large insurance broker who has been supplying insurance services to both the commercial and domestic markets in the Far North Queensland area for over 30 years. Priding themselves on their ability to provide exceptional customer service and facilitate the best insurance products/outcomes for their clients needs, they lead the Far North QLD market as an employer of choice.
Owing to an internal vacancy in the Tablelands branch, they are now looking to recruit another Assistant Insurance Broker to work as part of their support pool and support a number of Brokers in the office. You will be responsible for liaising with both commercial and domestic clients and providing broker support with regard to assessing client requirements, quoting for new business, processing renewals and making endorsements to policies.
You will be a self starter who enjoys working in a small team. Ideally you will have demonstrated experience working in a similar role and possess core skills around MS Office and insurance software systems. Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualifications will be highly regarded but not entirely essential.
Opportunities for advancement to Broker status may be available for the right candidate down the track. This is a full time permanent role and salary will be negotiated dependant on experience.
