Role Overview
 
This is a brand new opportunity in order to support the development and delivery of new business whilst retaining current business across the commercial portfolio. As the Senior Commercial Underwriter you will be responsible for the technical underwriting of new business and renewals as well as managing the existing scheme portfolio through the implementation of strategic underwriting initiatives. As the Senior Underwriter you will be responsible for the mentorship and training of new/existing team members.
 
Skills & Experience

It is essential that you come from a Commercial Underwriting background and can point towards a strong background in making business critical decisions as well as possess leadership capabilities. You will have a proven background implementing strategic underwriting initiatives to an existing portfolio as well as be strong technically across new business and renewal opportunities. It is preferred that you hold your ANZIIF tier 1 as well as an undergraduate degree in a related discipline.
