The client base varies across banks, superannuation funds, financial advice technology platforms and robo-advice businesses, who rely on quantitative excellence and innovation to support the delivery of engagement, education and advice systems to their clients.
With the business being able to leveraging a global pedigree in the development of asset / liability analytics and systems, they have now pioneered the use of big data and real-time, cloud-based financial technology to power the next generation of goals-based financial advice applications.
As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Leading client consulting and software implementation projects
- Managing ongoing client relationships
- Taking responsibility for the design, delivery and quality of client consulting and financial advice technology implementation projects.
- Assisting in the direction, design, specification and delivery of internal modelling capabilities.
- Managing and directing staff in the delivery and completion of internal and client-facing work
Successful candidates will have the following qualities / experience:
- Ideally a minimum of 5 years’ experience spent within a diversity of roles within the Financial Services sector, ideally with knowledge / exposure to the Retirement sector.
- Strong quantitative background, with a capability to solve complex, abstract problems and generate innovative solutions for clients.
- Self-starter, with an ability to work independently within a small but growing team of experts.
- Strong knowledge of capital markets and quantitative finance, ideally with a background in developing and maintaining stochastic projection models.
- A strong background in a quantitative field e.g. undergraduate, postgraduate and professional qualifications in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Actuarial or Computer Science.
- Ideally, familiarity with a variety of software development languages.
