Our client is an established Insurance business with a leading presence in their chosen market specialisation. With use of their local and global networks, our client develops niche insurance products that are delivered to their network of brokers Australia wide. We are currently seeking an accomplished Underwriter specialising in SME Commercial package business, to join their team and contribute to the growth of the business.

The Role:

• Underwriting of new business and renewals
• Servicing a diverse broker network Aus-wide
• Ability to handle high volumes and adapt to key stakeholder management with Insurers and Broker partners
• Contributing to the achievement of the business unit financial targets
• Effective communication (both written and verbal)
• Relationship building, not only to maintain current relationships but also to grow and develop new ones

To be successful for this role you will need:

• Strong commercial SME broking / UW Agency experience
• Experience with commercial SME insurance (ideally competent with using Sunrise Exchange)
• Exceptional relationship building skills
• Established broker relationships
• A positive attitude and to be a team player
• Tier 1 qualifications (preferred)
