The Opportunity
The Melbourne based Operations Team is currently seeing a Recoveries / Settlements Consultant who is passionate about customer service, service delivery and team work to support policy holders through the claims handling process.
A strong team player, who enjoys working in dynamic fast paced environment, the Consultant will be responsible for:
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing of end to end claims;
- Analysis, review and management of claims to evaluate recovery potential and maximise recovery opportunity;
- Management of the claims process through to settlement;
- Maintaining proactive contact with all parties involved in the claim;
- Interpretation, review and application of appropriate action on correspondence received from clients, third parties and service providers;
- Ensuring adherence of company policy and procedure;
- Completion of tasks within agreed SLA's and guidelines;
Who are we looking for?
With proven previous experience within a phone based customer service or call centre environment (motor claims desired), the successful applicant will have:
- 1+ years in third party settlements or recoveries experience
- Solid communication (written and verbal)
- Creative problem solving abilities
- High attention to detail
- Strong negotiation skills
- Developed PC skills
- High level of customer service skills
