JLT have a real commitment to looking after our people and have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Account Executive to join our Professional Risks and Direct team in Melbourne.
Reporting to the Sydney Account Manager, the successful candidate will provide:
- Proactive insurance broking services to a portfolio of small to medium sized commercial clients with the main focus on Professional Indemnity Insurance across a range of Professional industries
- Actively and methodically manage the renewal process
- Assisting in the delivery of first-rate service to clients whilst managing client interaction professionally and sensitively, observing strict confidentiality and discretion
- Providing a high level of service to new and existing clients, ensuring professional relationships are upheld
- Developing and maintaining important relationships with insurers and Industry bodies
- Timely and accurate response to general correspondence with clients and other stakeholders
- Timely and accurate reporting to the Account Manager and take accountability for the retention and growth of their portfolio
In order to be considered for this role the successful applicant will demonstrate:-
- Minimum of 2 years broking or underwriting experience as an Account Executive/ Broker or Professional Indemnity Underwriter
- Hold Tier 1 compliance (Insurance Broking)
- Experience and understanding of Professional Indemnity policies
- A Client First attitude
- Willingness to positively contribute to the team and business
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills to create and maintain successful business relationships
- Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Motivated self-starter focused on achieving results
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Excel
