Are you an ethusiastic General Insurance Professional, with previous experience in Underwriting Support or Insurance Administration? Are you looking for a new challenge? We are looking for a driven, talented Assistant Underwriter with previous general insurance experience and strong administration/customer service skills to join a CBD-based agency. Conveniently located in the CBD, you will be joining a well-established business with a solid reputation in the Melbourne market. This position provides a clear career path for an experienced Insurance Administrator or Assistant Underwriter looking to move upwards, offering an eventual progression into an Underwriter role.

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in underwriting/underwriting support, preferrably a brokerage or underwriting agency
• Excellent technical skills and knowledge - Tier 1 or Tier 2 preferred
• Experience in an Assistant Account Executive or Insurance Support role essential
• Experience in Strata/Property/Commercial or related field
• Ability to work efficiency in a fast-paced, busy environment
• Strong administration and time management skills
• Great eye for detail
• Natural communicator with a passion for high quality service
• Team player, with a positive, proactive approach
