ABOUT THE COMPANY 

Part of the McLardy McShane Group of Companies, DRA Insurance Brokers is focused upon providing professional and personal service to both its many long term and new clients.

Main duties include:

  • Answer incoming phone calls
  • Processing and ongoing maintenance of insurance policies
  • Administration work such as electronic filing, spreadsheets, preparation of correspondence
  • Ensure a consistently high level of service and professionalism
  • Liaising with clients, insurers and other stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and adherence to policies and procedures
  • Responding to queries raised by clients, insurers and other interested parties in a timely manner
  • Other tasks as directed

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Respond to enquiries and requests for action in a timely manner
  • Keep manager appropriately informed about work status
  • Organised workflow and up to date follow up systems
  • Efficient use of online and hard copy filing systems
  • Ability to quickly identify work that should be escalated to manager

Skills and Experience:

  • Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team
  • Enjoys customer service
  • Professional, friendly and courteous manner

Note, there will be training on the Insurance broking system and filing systems

Educational Requirements:

  • Be prepared to undertake appropriate studies to achieve/maintain RG 146 compliance, General Insurance Brokers Code of Practice and ASIC PS146 - Tier 2 Broking
