One of the biggest global insurers is looking to hire a Claims Operations Analyst to join their high performing team. In this role you’ll be supporting the team & Team Leader in claims operations by ensuring claims data and recoveries are delivered from the team to internal and external clients.

You’ll be improving team processes and systems enabling continuous improvements in efficiency, control and data quality. Also you’ll engage with external and internal clients in order to understand their needs and provide timely solutions leading to improvements in client satisfaction and data quality.

What you’ll be doing;

  • Act as a mentor/support for more junior team members
  • Contributing and engaging in the development and execution of the client relationship and engagement strategy for Life Operations in consultation with key business stakeholders
  • Contributing to the development of processes and client engagement strategies which demonstrate improvement in data received from clients.
  • Being part of delivery, having a strong understanding of how claim portfolios are performing through portfolio level monitoring and reporting. Identify enhancements to current reporting and work to implement.
  • Improving data optimisation and administrative processes - find ways to make existing processes more efficient and robust. Focus on improvement of quality of data.
  • Delivering Life Claims Operations activities to a high standard. This includes activities such as: processing of claims recoveries, portfolio reviews; claims liability authorisation; claims administration audits, and claim provisioning
  • Maintain and continuously improve processes for all Claims Operations activity by ensuring that all internal controls are performed effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensure all processes and controls are documented

What you’ll have;

  • University degree
  • Fin Services experience - Exposure to life insurance or reinsurance
  • Strong attention to detail, process driven and able to multitask
  • Proactive
  • Strong stakeholder management experience with an ability to build relationships across the business at all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills, outcomes focussed
  • Experienced in identifying areas of risk and improving processing, business systems/tools to resolve
