About The Role: 

Our claims department facilitates claim on behalf of our panel insurers is authorised to process claims of our customers on behalf of the panel of some Australia’s leading insurers,.  The role involves –

  • To deliver a first class claims handling service.
  • Handling and resolving claims from inception to settlement efficiently and fairly in accordance with our SLA’s and processes.
  • Liaising with assessors, insureds, insurers and claims managers and providing timely claims updates to customers, intermediaries and claims stakeholders
  • Capturing and recording of all claims data and processing claim payments.
  • Ensuring compliance with best practice, service and communication through system
  • Working with the wider business, including Sales and Service to promote good working practices and relationships with clients.

 

What we are looking for:

First and foremost a Customer Fanatic – someone who is driven to provide first class customer experience and do the right thing on behalf of the Customer.

  • strong technical knowledge, a flexible approach and sound claims handling judgement to ensure outstanding customer service at all times.
  • 2 years minimum experience in managing claims in the financial lines area.
  • The ability to effectively interact with external and internal stakeholders such as panel insurers, insureds and assessors is essential.
  • Ability to decide the complexity of claims on prescribed rules
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a high level of literacy.
  • Demonstrated history of taking ownership and achieving a claims outcome
  • Effective time and workload management skills and ability to prioritise.
  • Ability to work in a team based environment.
  • Passion for quality service and support.
  • Well developed ability to analyse, interpret policy wording applications and critical thinking.
  • Ability to work efficiently across various IT platforms.
