Our Motor Accidents Compensation (MAC) Team is integral to the organisation as they employ a number of specialist claims staff to assisting customers in their time of need. MAC delivers a market leading customer experience when assisting those who have sustained injuries in a motor vehicle accident. We currently have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Complex Claims manager. With a strong focus on achieving results, excellent people management skills and a strong customer focus to manage our claims performance, you will use your experience to lead and motivate the team to achieve the highest standards of performance and service delivery.

You will effectively demonstrate your skills by developing, coaching and motivating the team, whilst continually driving business improvement and maintaining a high performance culture .You will be responsible for coordinating the business unit resources and activities directly affecting overall performance and customer service standards.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Complex claims experience with a large corporate organisation
  • Allied health experience (highly regarded)
  • Strong history of achieving performance objectives (financial, customer and people)
  • Strong people management skills - including coaching and development
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship building skills (including conflict resolution)
  • Strong initiative and problem solving abilities combined with a solid business acumen
  • Professional and approachable demeanour
