EML are currently looking for expression of interests who would interested in Case Management and want to make a difference in the lives of others. As a Case Manager, you will not only find yourself in a rewarding career, but you will also expand on your knowledge and capabilities through our training programs, which will promote continual learning and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Be part of a dynamic and supportive team, with coaching, dedicated Learning and Development consultants, specialist advisors, and a passionate Team Leader
- Take responsibility for ongoing case management of a portfolio of Life Insurance claims
- Liaise with clients, customers, and external providers – working collaboratively across all stakeholders to assist our customers in return to work and return to health
- Work with the Team Leader to manage and oversee the day to day work activity, training and development of a team of Case managers, Trainee Case Managers and claims Assistants.
Skills & Experience
- Passion to make a difference and help people get their lives back after injury or illness
- Demonstrated experience within a worker’s compensation, personal injury and/or experience working in case management, insurance, call centre, Allied Health or community services
- A driven professional with highly developed written and verbal communication skills and excellent time management and organisation skills
- Strong problem solving skills with experience in negotiation and/or conflict resolution
- Careful consideration to detail with a high concern for accuracy
- Proactive, positive attitude, resilient and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a team with good, empathetic people skills
