An amazing opportunity has arisen in a very well known and respected General Insurance Brokerage for an experienced Workers Compensation Account Manager. The successful candidate will enjoy day to day responsibility for the servicing and development of a portfolio of workers compensation clients.

Based in the Sydney CBD, the role will require you to review and manage various clients Workers Compensation programs in consultation with General Insurance Brokers. You would also be actively involved within the Claims process and you would be liaising with the Insurers on behalf of the client in most situations

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone looking to consolidate their WC skills and Account Management experience. The successful applicant will be customer focussed and committed to an ethos of client service excellence.
 

Your duties & responsibilities will include:

  • To effectively manage the delivery of services to all clients and intermediaries.
  • Completing premium projections and reviews.
  • Report and manage claims effectively and efficiently.
  • Attend Claims reviews and client meetings as required.
  • Client retention and up sell/referral.
  • Ensure client files are accurate and compliant.
  • Collating of reports and data as required.
  • Adhoc administration duties as required - debtors, invoicing etc.
  • Assist with marketing campaigns and strategy along with General Insurance Account Managers.

 

Ideal attributes/experience for the role:

  • Working knowledge and experience in Workers Compensation is essential.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Previous experience in multiple states would be advantageous but not essential
  • Strong technical claims background
  • Must take accountability for the role and portfolio while also having strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong time management, priority management and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of premiums calculations useful but not essential
  • Highly motivated team player.
