The Opportunity
The HBF Branch Network is currently seeking a number of enthusiastic, ambitious, and driven individuals focused on providing excellent customer service and meeting sales targets. In addition to providing tailored health and general insurance solutions to meet our members' needs, the role includes cash handling and claims processing. Excellent computer and interpersonal skills are required, as well as a history of achieving KPIs in a retail sales environment.
All roles with the exception of the Albany branch include a Saturday as an ordinary working day. Further details are provided below.
Morley, Permanent, Part Time
Situated in the bustling Galleria Shopping Centre, the Morley branch is looking for two dynamic individuals to join an exciting and active branch.
Working 5 hours each Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and 9:00am-5:00pm each Saturday.
Booragoon, Permanent, Part Time
The Booragoon branch of HBF is calling for motivated individuals to join their team. Located in Garden City, you will be spoilt for choice for food, shopping and of course, working with us!
Working between 17.5hrs and 20hrs per week, with 5 hours each Saturday and the remaining hours worked on weekdays (typically 5 hour shifts per day).
Joondalup, Permanent, Part Time
Part of the Lakeside Joondalup complex, the Joondalup team is looking to add two vibrant consultants to the team. A fantastic opportunity in a great location.
Working 9:00am-5:00pm each Saturday, and between 5 and 6 hours each day over four weekdays.
Rockingham, Max-Term, Part Time

Working 5 hours each Monday and Tuesday and 9:00am-5:00pm each Saturday.
Albany, Permanent, Part Time
Does a small-town vibe with big community feel sound appealing? Our Albany branch is looking for a dedicated and charismatic individual to join the team, so don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity.
Working Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8:45am – 3:00pm daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Our Member Relationship Consultants are pivotal to our business – you are the first point of contact for existing and potential new members.
- Track and follow up quotes and sales leads, and work in a proactive way to maximise opportunities: not only to make sales, but to ensure our members are on the right level of cover for their situation.
- Service existing membership base, reviewing level of cover, responding to queries and questions and process member claims.
- Respond to member queries in a professional and timely manner. This may include email queries, as well as phone, mail, and face to face enquiries.
- Consistently demonstrate behaviours that reflect the HBF values.
About You
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated ability in achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to quickly diagnose needs through effective conversation and questioning.
- Excellent levels of customer service with a holistic approach to members and their needs.
- A can-do attitude with the ability and desire to learn and develop.
- Ability to 'think on your feet' and find information quickly.
