My client is a forward thinking and progressive life insurer that is growing their technical underwriting team to ensure they have a innovative team focused on the underwriting of the future.

The role of Technical Underwriter will see you going a team of technical underwriters who work as a combined team across:

Development, enhancement and implementation of the rules engine
Coaching and mentoring both retail and group underwriters
Completing quality audit reviews on underwriting teams
Participation in multiple underwriting projects
Innovation in underwriting

You will be:

A highly experienced underwriter (ideally already in a technical role)
Technically proficient across all products in Retail and Group Insurance
Experienced in rules engine work (desired but not essential)
Very strong in coaching and mentoring underwriters
Abreast of the life insurance industry from a innovation and technical perspective
Able to deliver multiple projects within underwriting
Excited about the future of underwriting and have ideas on best practice
