This well-known global life insurance business is currently looking to add an Claims Case Manager to join their growing life insurance team You will join a friendly team environment based in the CBD. Your new role
As a Claims Case Manager, you will be responsible for undertaking the assessment of Death and or Terminal Illness claims in line with Policy Terms and Conditions, in addition to the management of a portfolio of long term/tail end claims.
What you'll need to succeed
- 1 - 3 years claims consultant/ case manager experience, ideally in life insurance, workers compensation or CTP.
- This role will require great phone skills, ability to manage internal /external stakeholders and previous admin in Insurance experience would be helpful
- Understanding of life insurance products
- Medical - The Case Manager will be required to demonstrate a basic knowledge of medical terms / concepts so they can interpret reports and apply knowledge to the assessment process
- Communication- the Case Manager will be expected to maintain regular outbound contact with the client, adviser and associated 3rd parties
