The position:
 
Due to continued growth we are currently seeking a Senior Travel Claims Consultant to join our General Insurance team located in our Brisbane CBD Corporate office
 
The role:

  • End to end claims management for your portfolio of travel claims;
  • Settling claims within client service instructions, company guidelines and delegated authority;
  • Comply with relevant legislation such as the General Insurance Code of Practice, and other relevant legislation / regulations and policy requirements;
  • Resolve complaints in accordance with company guidelines;
  • Liaising with multiple stakeholders, including our customers, medical experts, investigators and other external suppliers
  • 2IC to the Team Leader, including training and mentoring, peer audit reviews and payment approvals for the wider team

 

You will have:
  • Previous experience handling travel claims is mandatory
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure
  • Enjoys providing excellent customer service
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Flexible, driven, and committed to the team and business
