The Senior Actuarial Analyst - Pricing's role consists of the following activities, and points highlighted in BOLD indicate that tasks that you will start within the first 3 months

• Opportunities have been identified to address inefficiencies and risk arising from differences
• Provide price modeling and analytics for the biggest GI portfolios (home, motor, and contents) 
• Develop and maintain GLM models and delivering the insights from these models
• Establish working relationships with peers across the actuarial and finance team
• Pro-actively seek ways to improve the efficiency and maximise the value-add of the actuarial team.

To be successful, the following skills/traits are favourable. Think about these questions in your past work experience and/or personal life:

• Technical - Can you manipulate data and provide market insights in the industry? Statistical Generalised Linear Modelling (GLM) Exposure - How much? SAS Exposure - How much?
• GI - Technical Pricing Experience - Are you an Actuarial Analyst working on their Qualifications and looking to get broader exposure?
• Achievement-Driven - Are you keen to contribute new ideas? Work within the team to work towards a common goal?
• Influencing - Are you able to convince other members of the project to understand your ideas
• Communicative - Are you able to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients and stakeholders?
• Clever - Are you able to put models to the test with real-life parameters and not just using idealistic hypothetical models?
