My client is a reputable Insurance Broker with a presence throughout Australia. Their branch in Homebush is currently seeking an Account Broker to provide a high level of support to a Senior Broker.  As an Account Broker, you will play an integral part in ensuring the effective service to a range of commercial and mid-market clients. 


Duties

• Taking calls from clients
• Liaising with the Underwriters
• Processing new business and certificates of currency
• Updating client detail
• Assisting with a range of queries regarding commercial product lines

Skills and Experiences

• Minimum of 3 years General Insurance experience from either a broking, underwriting or claims capacity
• Tier 2/1 qualifications will be highly regarded, however not essential
• Experience dealing with business packages, motor and professional lines business
• Able and willing to speak with clients and underwriters as required
• Excellent Administration skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
