We are currently recruiting for a Product Manager to manage both relationships internally and externally, for a number of Group Life Insurance offerings.
To effectively manage this you will have exposure to the following:
- Handling all day to day enquiries (internally and externally);
- Exposure to pricing and rate reviews;
- Working on the terms and conditions, and addressing any policy conditions;
- Measuring the strengths and weaknesses of the insurance design vs those of the organisations competitors;
- Assisting in maintaining the current relationships (internal and external);
- Keeping the product specifications for the products up to date.
We are looking for a mix of technical and commercial skills from the successful applicant. We are looking for someone who is confident in managing the product function, and who can be the go to for all things technical and commercial in relation to the product.
The technical piece is necessary due to the need to understand policy, pricing, group life insurance and the economics around all of this. Great people skills are also paramount as you need to be able to talk technically, and in layman's terms. It is extremely important that you are a logical thinker.
You will have exposure to, and support from the senior leaders in the business. This role comes with significant responsibility, and for the individual who is successful, this comes with unique exposure to senior staff internally, and across the industry. The role and organisation are suited to individuals who are passionate about group life insurance, are looking to develop their careers, and are looking to add unique experience to their remit.
We are looking for an individual with a successful track record working on group life insurance products. The environment the organisation is creating is one where all staff contribute to a high energy, and an overall positive outlook.
This is a great role that includes exposure to the C-suite within the organisation, and one where you will be the go to person for all things group life insurance product. You will also have exposure to senior stakeholders external of the organisation as well.
