We currently have positions available within the Corporate Recoveries and Settlements team in our Brisbane CBD office on a permanent full-time basis.
In this role you will manage the Recovery and Settlement of claims for our brands by ensuring sufficient estimates are on a claim, negotiating liability and demands with third parties and achieving the best possible recovery or settlement in a timely manner whilst providing a superior level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage the recovery and settlement process for the allocated queue workflow
- Identify and maximise recovery opportunities
- Negotiate win/win with settlement claims
- Fully understand and make decisions in line with the limits of authority and company guidelines
- Work within authority levels and make appropriate recommendations when authority is exceeded
- Maintain clear and concise communication with customers, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards all customers
- Ensuring all to in a timely manner, and proactively calling and answering calls to customer enquiries are attended achieve or exceed daily targets
Skills & Experience
- Outstanding analytical skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- High amount of resilience and ability to adapt to change
- Claims experience preferred but not essential
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
