About the role
The Customer Relations Officer will handle cases arising from escalated complaints or disputes, internal referrals, and customer survey responses, and provide efficient, professional service to enhance and protect Hollard’s reputation along with our various brands and partners in the general insurance market.

This work involves investigating negative feedback received from customers, determining a suitable response and proactively contacting customers to try and resolve the complaint or issue.

Review cases that arise from Customers and Internal referrals determine recommended action as required and  manage in a timely, professional and efficient manner.

Record and communicate recommendations for improvement  for prevention of future issues.

Meet expected individual targets and contribute to business service targets and deadlines.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong technical insurance and policy interpretation skills, and solid knowledge of  Insurance systems, processes and procedures.
  • Background claims Handling and/or Service – minimum 12 months.
  • Strong customer focus, with an exceptional level of customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict management skills.
  • Excellent customer service related communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Excellent judgement and problem solving skills, thinks outside the box to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Ability to communicate feedback in a constructive manner.
  • Excellent time-management skills - planning & organisational.
  •  Intermediate computer skills.
