This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced claims professional with a strong claims acumen to join a leading Melbourne based insurance broking organisation backed by the strength of the Steadfast Group.

In this role, your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Client interface
• Managing complex claims to achieve desired outcomes for clients
• Promoting efficiency initiatives and contributing to effective management of claims
• Ensuring adherence to internal and client service standards, KPI's and business objectives.  
• End to end management of claims in accordance with company policy and procedure. Including IDR and FOS submission on behalf of clients.
• Reviewing insurer's denial and put forward recommendations to client.  
• Liaise effectively and efficiently with stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you must have:

• A strong claims background across commercial claims; must have strong technical knowledge in general insurance.
• Strong negotiation skills. 
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Ability to handle complex claims
• Ability to work under pressure
• Proven experience within a claims role.
• Experience in training people and maintaining a coaching relationship

Qualifications (Desired but not mandatory):

Minimum qualification -  Tier 1 Insurance Broking
