Hospitality Employers Mutual – Our Specialised Insurer

This is an exciting opportunity to work with EML’s only Specialised Insurance business; Hospitality Employers Mutual.  We provide industry specific workers compensation insurance to accommodation, pubs, hotels and clubs.

Customer service has been a long-standing pillar in our approach and a majority of our case managers are allied health professionals who are passionate about helping people get their lives back. We provide end to end case management and each policy holder has a dedicated case manager. This enables us to develop strong collaborative relationships with our policy holders to enable great outcomes for all involved.

The Opportunity

We are looking for Allied Health Professionals, Hospitality workers or relevant fields with excellent customer service skills and embodying a passionate and empathetic approach to assist injured workers get their lives back. You will join a supportive and dynamic team who will provide you with support, training and career development to enable you to achieve return to work outcomes for your clients and further your career as a Case Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of workers compensation claims;
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with injured workers, employers and third party service providers;
  • Developing and implementing Injury Management Plans in conjunction with the injured worker;
  • Working in accordance with relevant legislation and internal policies and procedures;
  • Regular communication with stakeholders including conducting face to face case conferences.

What We Are Looking For

  • Passion to make a difference and help people get their lives back;
  • Demonstrated experience in within a customer service environment
  • An empathetic, resilient, and motivational approach to provide customer centric support; 
  • A driven professional with highly developed written and verbal communication skills, outstanding organisational and coordination skills; 
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn;
  • Sound analytical, problem solving and decision making skills;
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management;
  • Experience and/or education in the field of physiotherapy, occupational therapy, exercise physiology, chiropractic or Hospitality is desirable.
