My client an employer of choice in Melbourne's life insurance market are expanding and are looking to recruit an experienced Claims Assessor whose strengths lie in assessing complex TPD claims.

As a Claims Assessor you will:

• Manage an end to end portfolio of complex TPD claims
• Review and assess all documentation including medical information and reports from treating practitioners
• Develop strategies to drive positive claims outcomes 
• Assisting with denied reviews and recommendations
• Build relationships with claimants 
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders

Your background will include;

• 2+ years experience in life insurance as a claims assessor 
• Experience in handling a portfolio of TPD claims 
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• Sound understanding of medical terminology, injuries and treatment
