The Company
Our client a leading Financial Institution and Employer of Choice is seeking an accomplished Claims Assessor to join their Sydney team. In this role you will be well supported and guided with direct access to exceptional Technical Assessors and Senior Assessors, with additional funding invested into continued assessor development and training.
The Opportunity
Here you will be responsible for assessing and managing a portfolio of Life Risk disability (Retail) claims in line with the Policy Terms and Conditions.
If successful your responsibilities would include; but are not limited to:
- Managing a portfolio of complex TPD & Trauma insurance claims
- Review claims assessors' decisions
- Assisting with monthly auditing of claims
- Assisting with the compilation of monthly reports
- File reviews and auditing of claims across all products
About You:
- 2 + years experience (minimum) in assessing life insurance claims; specifically Retail
- Strong technical skills across TPD & Trauma products
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements
