This is a full time position based in the Sydney Office.

About the role
Superannuation, Retirement and Investments brings together AMP’s retail and workplace super (accumulation and retirement) propositions as well as our non-super investment propositions. This includes product strategy, product management, profitability management and pricing for retail and corporate superannuation, investments and platforms. The Product Analyst will work within this function of AMP and support the product manager in researching and analysing the product and assist the business in implementing ongoing product management and retention initiatives, as well as answering product queries from across the business.
Duties
- Provide analysis and research to help develop customer centric product strategies
- Support day-to-day insurance product management for a portfolio of AMP products
- Support delivery of relevant key financial metrics (net cashflows, profitability, costs)
- Undertake regular competitor analysis and market intelligence activity
- Support the composition of various management reports including P&L, product profitability, dashboards and Board reports
Skills & experience
- Basic knowledge and understanding of the market, in particular superannuation and insurance
- Broad interest in financial services industry, market trends, competitive responses, impact of regulation
- Strong customer focus
- Strong quantative skills including gathering, analysing and presenting data
