This major National Employer who pride themselves on offering their staff a stable and supportive working environment are currently seeking a client focussed Senior Case Manager to join their high performing claims department on a permanent basis.


The Opportunity

Reporting to the Claims Manager, the primary duties of this role include:

• Providing an exceptional claims service to your own portfolio of key clients
• Developing and implementing Injury Management & Return to Work plans on all significant injury claims
• Assessing liability based on current legislative guidelines
• Educating stakeholders on their legislative obligations and ensuring they have the correct claims lodgement processes in place.
• Driving recovery through working closely with both the in-house Injury Management team and external Rehab Providers and ensuring effective Return to work plans are implemented.
• Estimates and wage calculations
• Case conferencing
• Ad-hoc reporting as required by the Claims Manager

About You:

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following:

• At least 2 years experience managing workers compensation claims within a Scheme Agent, Self Insurer, Employer or Specialised Insurer environment
• Strong knowledge of the current legislation
• Strong desire to achieve positive return to work outcomes and achieve a good result for all stakeholders involved
• Excellent negotiation skills and communicational skills
