The Company
Right now my client requires an experienced professional with a worker’s compensation background in the area of RTW Specialist, they will look at Senior RTW Case Managers but you must have an Allied Health background. The Role
The main duties in this role are to look at the claims process in the business look at ways to improve processes. Use your negotiation skills to deliver sustainable return to work outcomes, review requests for treatment and provide advice and assistance to other case managers in the team.
The person will be responsible for developing and promoting injury management strategies that focus on early injury recovery and durable return to work.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in Workcover or claims management under the Accident compensation Act 1985.
- Be able to negotiate and influence other areas of the business.
- An all rounder with the ability to work as part of a team - someone that can mentor and is easily approachable.
- Extensive and demonstrated medical knowledge understanding the treatment required especially the types of treatment applicable to the injury.
Your Details
The successful candidate will have demonstrated a strong understanding of Workers Compensation claims management. The ability to mentor, coach and support claims management teams. This will suit someone who is a good team player, highly organised and able to work under demanding situations and most importantly have a personal commitment to promoting and ensuring work safety. You will have strong communication skills and want to be part of this fantastic team.
