About the opportunity

Based in Laverton and reporting to the Risk, Insurance & Claims Manager, your primary responsibility will be the end to end management of claims. Including providing support to all functions relative to the claim evaluation and decisions in accordance with company contracts and policies, processing and handling, and settlement of damages and insurance claims.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Accurate and timely end to end management of claims.
  • Review and management of claims recovery potential.
  • Consistent delivery of high quality customer service.
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

About your experience

We are seeking a customer and quality focused individual with excellent communication skills. You will be calm under pressure and be computer literate with a sound understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in the insurance industry or claims management would be useful background for this role. Other key attributes required for the role include:

  • Negotiating and decision making skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Sound organisation and time management skills.
  • An ability to identify areas for process improvement and execute accordingly.
