Our client is an industry leading insurance organisation based on the North Shore of Sydney that offers excellent careers for motivated and customer service driven individuals.

Due to a strong growth period in the motor vehicle claims team, they are looking for a customer focused Repair Coordinator to join their close knit team of 10 people.

The role will involve managing motor vehicle repair claims through to final resolution and providing excellent customer service, empathy and support to customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing motor claims from lodgment stage
  • Developing relationships and working closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders (including preferred repairers and assessors)
  • Obtaining quotations from repairers for works to be completed
  • Guiding customers through the claims process, offering empathy and support throughout the process
  • Processing claims and providing advise on product coverage
  • Identifying potential fraudulent claims and taking the appropriate action
  • Providing excellent customer service in customer service at all times and managing customer expectations

About you:

  • Have an understanding of the motor claims process, this can be domestic or commercial motor experience
  • Ideally some experience in the motor repair area, however this is not essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload in a fast paced working environment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Customer service orientated
  • Emphatic nature
  • Great attitude and eager to learn
  • Team player and results driven
