The Roles

Capricorn’s Claims Administrators are responsible for the administrative tasks within the Capricorn Risk team, including:

  • Acknowledging the receipt of claim notifications and service enquiries from key stakeholders;
  • Task allocation for all new business and renewals;
  • Handling client and account manager phone calls,
  • Lodging Premium Funding contracts; 
  • Creating and distributing wages declarations for workers compensation; and
  • Maintaining great relationships with both members and internal staff by making prompt decisions, maintaining good communication throughout the claim process and following through with promises.

Experience Required

We're also looking for the following background when assessing applications:

  • Administration experience;
  • Insurance industry experience (desirable);
  • Advanced skills in the use of MS Office, including Outlook;
  • Experience with ibais and OfficeTech (desirable);
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team; 
  • Ability to manage numerous tasks within set time frames and meet deadlines;
  • Attention to detail, showing concern for completeness and accuracy on assigned tasks; and
  • High level of service orientation.
