About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Commissions Manager, TAL, this role is responsible for the effective centralised management, calculation and monitoring of commissions and other remuneration due and payable by TAL to its distributors under their various agreements.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Calculations and payments of commissions and other remunerations to distributors through their commission statement in line with TAL's various agreements and payment guidelines, and ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and presentations of all payments to distributors.

  • Conducting complex calculations and payments of commissions on various major policy alterations, including replacement business and associated journals.

  • Participating in project work relating to legislative, and/or internal initiatives including product releases, mergers, demergers, integrations, systems enhancements.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in finance or related discipline as well as previous experience in a customer service role within the finance industry;

  • The ability to work well, communicating and negotiating optimal business outcomes with senior stakeholders and have exemplary planning and organisational skills;

  • Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills;

  • Exceptional organisational/time management skills; and

  • Strong MS office skills.
