The Client
A key player in the Australian market is looking for an experienced Underwriter or Broker to take over a portfolio of brokers handling large Strata risks. A company where you can continue to grow and expand your career. Working with an established leadership teams and underwriters you will be in an enviroment where you can continue tolearn and develop.
The Role
A key role for a Strata expert to jump straight into and hit the ground running.
- Strata experience is a must from either broking or underwriting
Your Responsibilities
- Liaise with the affiliated Brokers and external parties providng a high level of customer service
- Underwrite new business within given authority limits
- Review upcoming renewals, endorsements
- Help the rest of the underwriting team with increasing profitability
What we are looking for:
- The ability to make informed risk decisions
- Ability to build strong relationships internally
- Good communication skills with the ability to negotiate
- Well presented and relationship focused
- Either experience as an Assistant Underwriter or 2-5 years experience in an underwriting role. Also happy to look at candidates with a Broker or Account Execuitive background looking for a change.
