A rare opportunity has arisen for a Broker Assistant to join a highly-respected insurance broker to further develop their skills and understanding by working on a Domestic and Strata portfolio. The need to know:

  • Personal Lines and Strata portfolio
  • Assisting the office with administrative and technical support
  • Providing high levels of service to clients and prospects
  • Manage client/insurer relationships, renewals, claims and other business needs across the whole spectrum of broker responsibilities
  • Obtain quotes for clients’ policies - new and existing - using insurer platforms and portals
  • Preparation of reports, manuals, renewal letters and policy documentation

The must haves:

  • Broking Tier 1 & Tier 2 (or be prepared to obtain)
  • Current retail broking insurance experience (essential), Strata (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • A “sense of urgency” and ability to work under pressure and with attention to detail
  • Love working as part of a team
  • A passion for learning and training
  • Ability to use initiative and maintain high levels of confidentiality
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
