About the role 
As Team Leader in our Claims Administration team, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of tasks in an effective and efficient manner ensuring all work produced meets all high quality standards, SLA?s and timeframe agreements with our client. This is achieved by providing exceptional leadership, planning and organising and working together as a collective. 


Duties and responsibilities 

  • Manage team members and workflow to ensure all service standards are met and exceeded
  • Foster an environment where team members are empowered and accountable to make their own decisions 
  • Focus on team development and growth, and provide proactive coaching, mentoring and guidance 
  • Develop and maintain the skills and knowledge of the team, acting as a role model and focusing on the member
  • Conduct regular 1-1?s with all team members, providing regular feedback and completing individual development plans
  • Ensure an effective and welcoming on-boarding experience is managed for all new team members 
  • Resolve complex queries from internal and external members/clients and provide adequate resolutions to achieve objectives 
  • Identify opportunities, put a plan in place and implement solutions 
  • Continuously monitor resource availability so the team can meet client needs and ensure all services are performed and delivered 


Skills and experience 

  • Managerial experience in similar or relevant role essential 
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, lead and inspire a team 
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
  • Experience leading a team through change
  • Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback and implementing this back into your work/team
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements and changes
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Customer service focused with a strong empathetic and compassionate approach
  • A drive to reach set goals and deliverables 

The ideal candidate will also be an active listener and sounding board for all team members offering an empathetic approach. You will be proactive in building product and technical knowledge by using your initiative and taking an interest in the industry to help assist growth and development for yourself and others.
