An opportunity is available in our Brisbane SunSuper team for a Claims Manager. This role is responsible for ensuring the embedded claims team works consistently within AIA Australia’s claims management guidelines and to the appropriate levels of quality and consistency required in order to fulfill AIA Australia’s obligations to its client.

This role is a the key relationship contact point from a claims perspective for this key client and is responsible for achieving the required claims service standards as agreed between funds/clients and AIA Australia.

 

This position is responsible for setting the claims management philosophy, through frequent analysis of the claims experience and trends; and positioning their team members to implement claims management strategies that will influence the claims experience to meet AIA Australia’s expectations.

 

You will lead and develop the Claims Team Leaders, including on-going coaching and mentoring to support them in targeted recruitment to manage the claims book, overseeing on-going performance and development of staff in the team, monitoring  KPI’s and performance expectations and identifying any training and development needs.
