About the role

We are looking for a Motor Claims Client Manager to join our Repair team. As a Motor Claims Client Manager you will be responsible for managing vehicle repair claims through to final resolution, providing excellence in customer service via empathic support and accurate guidance to customers. The Client Manager is the Customer Champion and the voice of Hollard and therefore plays a pivotal role in ensuring our customers remain loyal to our brand. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day management of customer enquiries and validating reported insurance claims.
  • Providing our customers with empathy, certainty, guidance, support and final resolution of claim situations and enquiries whilst at all times doing so with excellent customer service.
  • Management and proactive maintenance of outstanding claim reserves at every claim interaction to ensure the accuracy of the claim reserves.
  • Identify potential fraudulent claims and follow agreed policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that customers and suppliers/service providers are contacted in a prompt, courteous and knowledgeable manner.
  • Resolve complaints from clients, suppliers or services providers
  • Ensure that all claims handled by the service providers are managed productively whilst considering cost, quality, timeliness and policy guidelines.

To be considered for this position, you will need:

  • Knowledge of Claims discipline, practices and products
  • Technical insurance and policy interpretation skills
  • Ability to interpret company policies, guidelines and procedures
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong customer focus
  • Excellent communication skills – (verbal and written)
  • Excellent time-management skills - planning & organisational
  • Computer literate with competencies in Microsoft product offerings
  • Basic experience in working in mainframe or computer systems or software
  • Sound judgment and decision making skills
