Here’s where you come in…

To support the growth of AustralianSuper we are seeking a Sydney based Senior Business Development Manager who will be responsible for the cost effective attraction of new members to the Fund. Reporting to the National Manager - New Business, this role represents an outstanding opportunity to help the Fund acquire merger partners, businesses and their employees, advisers and their clients. 

In this role, you will use all available networks, generating new business leads and opportunities. You will build and maintain a robust business pipeline, including qualifying all prospects and developing clear acquisition plans. You will contribute to the bid/no bid process, and ensure the accuracy, consistency and commercial viability of our product offerings.

You’ll need…

A successful track record of working in a business development role within the financial services industry, ideally in superannuation. You have a thorough understanding of competitive practices and remain outcome-focused in high pressure, competitive B2B environments.

Tertiary qualified in business, commerce or a related field, you also hold RG146 accreditation. You are organised, analytical and strategic, and are able to adapt your style to effectively influence a broad range of stakeholders.
