An exciting leadership opportunity is available in our Melbourne group Claims team. This role is responsible for leading a team of Claims Assessors in our Group Claims operation including the execution of agreed claims management strategies and ongoing coaching and development of staff. The role must also ensure the effective and efficient assessment of claims, within agreed turnaround times and, within the framework of our business operating protocols, policy terms and conditions and, where appropriate, the Insurance Contracts Act and other relevant legislation.
To be successful in this role, you will have a high level knowledge of product, claims, medical, system and legislation/regulations impacting life insurance. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, and create and sustain a positive and dynamic team environment, with a strong customer service focus. You will also priode yourself on your analytical skills, with a high attention to detail and the ability to make analyse data and make recommendations on claim decisions.
